Nampa Photographer | Sherrie and Emma

I loved that I had the opportunity to photograph another of Sherrie's babies with her all in white. When babies are born, in the LDS church they are given a name and a blessing. The name is to be documented on the records of the church, and the blessing is often given by their father asking God to bless them with various things including health, wisdom, kindness and whatnot. It is not required, but more often than not the baby has a special white outfit to wear, symbolizing their pureness. Sherrie handmade all of her daughter's blessing dresses, and it was so neat to see all of her children's blessing outfits hanging up from oldest to youngest. Sweet little Emma fell asleep during our time together, and it allowed for some of the sweetest moments to be captured of her with her mom.
