Nampa Idaho Family Photographer | The K Family

There's definitely a fun story and a lifelong memory to go along with this family session, but instead of typing a novel, I have decided to instead keep it brief.  If you want to know all the details of how this night had me hysterically laughing over and over again, you will have to ask Megan or myself personally.  Anyway, we decided to drive this 1950's truck (which Megan used to drive to high school every day) a few miles to our eventual shooting location. We probably should have had a back up plan because the truck stalled too many times to count.  It was hot...Megan was sweating off all of her makeup and her hair was losing its curl.  I was praying we didn't get pulled over for not having adequate seat belts and for driving too slow.  We had a few people give us weird looks as we were parked in the middle of the road trying repeatedly to get the old truck to get us just a little farther.  When the sunlight started to fade, I began to panic; worrying all of this hard work and effort would be for naught.  But we made it.  Not only did we make it, we had gorgeous portraits to show for it.  I love the connection this family has to one another and am so grateful we got the opportunity to document it.
